In this video, we will cover how to use articles in Spanish. You will learn about the Articles “el” and “la” which mean “the”. Also, you will learn about the Articles “un” and “una” which mean “a”.

Do you know what a noun is?

In case you forgot a noun denotes a person, place, or thing.  In Spanish, though nouns can be masculine or feminine.  Using the right articles in Spanish will depend on if the noun is masculine or feminine and you will have to use the right article to go with it.  One of the ways to tell the difference is if a noun ends in “o” it will be masculine.  But if the noun finishes in “a” it will be feminine.  This does not always work and what happens to words that do not end in the letter “o” or “a”.  Maria gives some tips in this video to help you figure out what the noun and article will be.  As always you get to learn right alongside Cody as he is making his way from zero to fluency.  Test you understand with him and see if you can figure out how to use articles in Spanish.
