El miedo de hablar en otro idioma
Lots of Spanish students and really any language students normally have the fear of speaking another language. Even Spanish students at an intermediate level say that, despite having sufficient vocabulary and grammar, they are afraid to speak Spanish. Why is this? They are afraid of the embarrassment that a mistake can cause. So they end up not using their Spanish that they worked so hard to learn.
In this video, we are going to try to fix this. We are going to talk about three things that you need to get out of your head if you are going to speak Spanish and lose the fear of speaking another language. The hard truth is if you are still worried about what people think of you when you are wrong, and that’s why you prefer not to talk, you’re wasting your time. Do not let other people keep you from speaking and using your Spanish.
We know this can be difficult as other Spanish learners and the online language world can be mean and cruel. We have seen this first hand in the YouTube comment section. However, in the real world when you are talking with a native Spanish speaker you are going to find them to be far less intimidating. In most cases, you will probably be surprised to see that native Spanish speakers will want to help you and encourage you.
What do you think? Do you agree with the tips in the video? Are you going to use them?
