Should you use parecer o parecerse?
The idea for this video on parecer o parecerse came when we got a message from a student. In the message the student wrote “esta comida se parece deliciosa”. What he meant was “That food seems delicious”. The sentence in Spanish was not correct. Why? That is what we are going to look at in this video.
There is confusion with the use of parecer o parecerse. Also, the intention behind “parecer” might not be the one you are looking for when you want to give someone a compliment.
