LISTENING CHALLENGE!
We are back with another Spanish listening challenge for you. For this challenge, you will listen to a song in Spanish and fill in blanks that you see while you watch the video. You will also try to see if you can beat my score that I got as well.
This is a great way to improve your listening skills in Spanish. It is also a fun way to practice and you can learn some new songs and vocabulary.
For our Spanish listening challenge, we will use a great site called lyricstraining.com. To get the most out of this listening challenge follow the steps below before you head over to lyrics training.
About
For this listening challenge, we have an Argentine rock band. The song is “De Música Ligera” and it is by Soda Stereo. This song came out in 1990 but I think it still sounds good. At the beginner level, I only had 9 words to fill in. I thought the song was pretty easy to understand but there were some parts I had trouble with. Could you hear a difference in pronunciation from these guys than any of the other we have done? I played this song at the beginner level and my best score, for now, is 131.
First
Before you try to beat my score just watch the video.
Second
Play the video while you follow along with the lyrics below.
Lyrics:
Ella durmió
Al calor de las masas
Y yo desperté
Queriendo soñarla
Algún tiempo atrás
Pensé en escribirle
Que nunca sorteé
Las trampas del amor
De aquel amor
De música ligera
Nada nos libra
Nada más queda
No le enviaré
Cenizas de rosas
Ni pienso evitar
Un roce secreto
De aquel amor
De música ligera
Nada nos libra
Nada más queda
De aquel amor
De música ligera
Nada nos libra
Nada más queda
Nada más
Nada más queda
Nada más queda
Nada más queda
Nada más queda
