Using Haber

In the lesson, we are talking about the verb Haber.  We will be using this verb to talk about what there is in a place in Spanish.  We will be using the very simple and unique verb: HABER, and its form to express existence: HAY.

Let’s take a look at some of the vocabulary we will cover in this lesson:

cámaras, enferemeras, enfermeras, personas, lapiceros, leche, estudiantes, sillas, cuchara, perros, dedos, teléfono, gato, mesas, doctores, lápices, puerta, venatanas, platos, sofá, televisor, baño, cocina, mochila, colores, papeles, libros, camas.

¿Did you know you can use HAY to say there is and ALSO to say there are? With this verb, you can use quantifiers, numbers, or nouns. Use it to describe places to other people or to tell what you can find at a place.
